public building build in 1864 is considered the world's first shopping
centre. It now houses high- end cafes and fashion shops. |

The Castello Sforzesco is a former military
fort built to defend Milan in the 1450's. Since 1893 it has been
home to various cultural institutions and collections including
the Museum of Musical Instruments. |

Castello Sforzesco also has a collection
of ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman artifacts inclulding these
columns and arches. |
